Dean's Homework

To accomplish the homework Dean has given us we have been working feverishly with the community to bring F.I.R.S.T.'s message. We've designed and printed numerous invitations to the Arizona Regional and have presented many to community involved groups. We have contacted all state representatives and senators as well as our governor, secretary of state, superintendent, our national senators, and our district representative. We are continuing our work and hoping to have the Veteran's Memorial Coliseum packed at the March competition.

2009 - This year's homework assignment is quite a handful!  Students who are current members of FRC 1013 are beginning the process of finding alumni for Team 1013 and our parent FRC Team, Team 64 - The Gila Monsters.

In addition, students will begin to continue past homework assignments, in an effort to continue bringing FIRST into the light it deserves, showing others that educating our youth is our salvation.  Students have begun to contact Arizona State Legislators and Senators, Federal Representatives and Senators, City Mayors and the Governor.  In addition, students have begun to contact the various media outlets in an effort to get this event the coverage it deserves.
